Following an exciting and productive set of meetings with fellow industry leaders, academic institutions, patient advocacy groups and investors as well as inspirational keynote addresses by patient advocates Kris Gulden and Grant Albrecht, the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine hit Capitol Hill for a day of meetings with members of congress.
Our mission is to increase support for the Regenerative Medicine Promotion Act of 2011 (H.R. 1862). The bill, which already enjoys bi-partisan support in the House of Representatives, seeks to streamline the regulatory process for life-saving therapies and devices, create the Regenerative Medicine Coordinating Council to improve inter-agency communication and to support greater collaboration between industry, academia and government in an effort to make the promise of regenerative medicine a reality.
We strongly urge you to call your representative and ask them to co-sponsor H.R. 1862, all it takes is a quick phone call. Not sure who your representative is? Click here to find out!
